Laboratories ELIAUS (formerly known as LP2A) of the University of Perpignan Via Domitia and LIRMM of the University Montpellier 2 have been working since 2005 on structuring collaborations in computer science. Such collaborations will be the key to the development and the establishment of cutting edge research in computer science at the University of Perpignan Via Domitia and to the development of a structure representative of all the research activities in computer science in the French Région Languedoc-Roussillon.
The works presented in this site have been initiated or are funded thanks to these collaborations. Regional projects focus on the French Région Languedoc-Roussillon and Spain with a highlight to Northern (French) and Southern (Spanish) Catalunya. It was initiated during meetings of the AriNews group
